macaque landscape
Right now I'm working on a figurative series called Monster Attachments. These paintings have been haunting me for some time...Here is one of them. I originally painted this bleak landscape in 2014. Later, going through my news clippings, I came across a family of Macaque monkeys huddled together. Through the process of pairing them, a painting with a strong environmental message emerged.
Great breakdown — it answered a couple of questions I'd been sitting with for a while. The point about staying consistent over chasing quick wins is one more people need to hear. If this was useful, there's a decent chance you'll get something out of https://chiba-shiku.org/pages/uncx_becomes_lockup_and_vesting_partner_for_krown_network__strengthening_trust_infrastructure.html too.
Appreciate you writing this up — it's the kind of thing I wish I'd read sooner. The distinction you drew in the middle cleared up something I'd been muddling. For more along these lines, feel free to check out https://portalbridges.net whenever you get a moment.
