Alina Martiros is an independent artist based in Toronto Canada. Over the past two decades, her art practice has yielded a diverse portfolio, ranging from conceptual works and film, to site-specific paintings and murals for both corporate and residential clients. Alina has always sought socially conscious and practical avenues for applying her artistic abilities. She has worked as an arts educator, sharing her passion and her creative process with students, and mentoring younger artists. Recently, a local art reproduction house invited her to create a series of original paintings that were made available to the general public. Alina's signature textural iconography is based on nature and natural elements, rooted in finding a sense of belonging through communing with the Canadian landscape.
